Making money used to be a lot harder than it is now. When I was a kid, I mowed our two huge lawns and washed our two family cars, all for $10. An entire afternoon’s work, for $10! I also picked berries at the local berry patch for $1.00 a flat. Kids now can make that kind of money doing a lemonade stand on the side of the street, taking out the garbage for neighbors, or watering their grandparent’s plants.
